I went on a hunt 11/2010 at the cemetery. It was a little too chilly for bugs and did see lights like orbs in the trees. Also saw shadows darting between tomb stones. I have a picture of a blue orb near the stone of the Bristol boy. Every time we saw "someone" and took a picture, an orb would show up on the photo. Looking forward to going back.

Hey guys,
I live in cheshire, and I have some good news for YOU! When I was eight, my mom, two sisters and I walked out of the public library. My youngest sister, kellen, was four at the time. Suddenly she blinked and stared at the largest sculpture headstone.
My mother asked,

"Whos there?"
Who ever was there I sure didn't see.

"A lady..." She replyed.

"Well, is she young or old?"

"Old."

Thats all the information we got out of her that day. The next day we figured out she disappeared infront of the pizza shop next to the cemetary.

Many years later, she reveled that the apporiton had come out of the grave with the statue on it, stared at her, and disapered in front of the pizza shop. Apparently, to my sister, she was "A white blob with arms."

So, if you are ever in Cheshire, and have a night to spare, I really suggest going there. You will probably find alot of eviedence. I really suggest it!!!!

Happy Hunting!

Hello,
I stumbled upon your site when looking up the History of Hillside Cemetery. I have lived in Cheshire for almost all 22 years of my life. I have gone on multiple ghost hunts and have experienced many things. Right not i'm investigating one individual that was buried there. His last name is Bristol. He's a 14 year old boy that was buried there. When you enter the main gate is in the corner all the way to the left. Every time I go in there at night he walks back and forth between the stones to the left. Last time I was there he seemed to be playing "Hide and Seek" with me and the rest of my team. I work with Jimmy Pettonito (www.mrhaunted.com) We did some EVP's and got some great responses. Also in a lot of our photos there was a light blue orb that followed me around. I believe it's the boy I was referring to earlier. Jimmy likes to do "fill in the missing word" evps. He said "Happy Birthday to" and got "You" as a response and "Peanut butter and" and got "Jelly" as a response. The voice sounded very similar to the "Help Me" one that you guys got. In the older part of the Cemetery most of the individuals that died before the age of 45 died of disease and I think that may be why you got a "Help Me" response. I'd like to go back sometime soon and do another investigation. I'm not sure where you guys are out of, but it would be great if we had two teams working together. They closed off the road that connects the old side with the new side, but I find that most activity happens on the older side any way. Well if you are interesting in a collaboration just drop me a line. I also have photos from that night if you would like me to send them your way.

Chris,

I have been doing paranormal research for many years and have actually also grown up in Cheshire. As children we used to play in that cemetery. It is indeed a very quite place. However the rear section that is still being used is more prone to activity. You can sometimes get interesting pictures and good evps back there. The best place however is the road connecting the two if your looking for personal experiences. There is a muaseleum or two set in along the way that has some very strange activity and gives off unnatural vibes. I reccommend concentrating there after dark.

Christine,
Thanks for stopping by. And you are absolutely correct-psychics, and sensory equipment should be used, in conjunction to conduct a thorough investigation.
Thanks again for your comment.

I grew up in Cheshire and many of us as kids went there often,,I found it very peaceful the only spot I did not feel very nice in was one small area.

I have some pictures tucked away somewhere with interesting things in them.

I am a Psychic and do have a pretty good sense of things.;-).that being said in our group I know it should always be attempted to back up what sensitives feel with EMF readings Evps etc...and maybe in some cases vice versa.
Good work!!

Personally, I'm a scientist through and through. Chris has a bit more intuition, and a couple of the people I've spoken to from that day also claim abilities. I don't think we had anyone who will stand up and say they're an actual medium, though.

I don't doubt that a real medium could find herself an experience or two at Hillside.

Something unexplained appeared on our photos and recordings, but I can't say one way or another that it was paranormal. So it shall remain: unexplained.

I wonder how the lack of paranormal experiences would've been were a medium present at the site. Is there anyone on your team (s) with ACTUAL intuitive abilities? They are a hard species to find, I know!
